Wait didn't you say you were gong to San Diego?

Great to spend some time with the Sorianos, Floreses and Daddy Lo and Mommy La in San marcos (near San Diego). Always a pleasure to see them. Armand took us to Iron Fist microbrewery owned by some local brothers in San Marcos. Armand has a special relationship to this place, not because he's alcoholic (not yet confirmed) but because he used to work there. Beer after the meeting = happy.

Meanwhile we were able to get most of our shopping done and dusted with (multiple) trips to Ross, Frys, Costco and Walmart. Also there's a couple of huge Korean food supermarkets in San Diego where you can buy anything from Korean drinks to Korean toilet paper (if you're really feeling patriotic in the loo).

Food watch: In-n-out Burger.
Best cheeseburgers in my humble opinion. Too bad they don't have these on the east coast. Had to make sure we hit it at least once. Also a nice place to watch the local wildlife, and by wildlife mean the locals ;-)

Next stop: Detroit. We're scheduled to land at 12:50am after our flight was delayed 2 hours. I had mixed feelings when the pilot said that we were taking the longer route to the north to avoid severe thunderstorm and tornado activity along our flight path :-/ I was kind of happy we flew over the Grand Canyon however...
