Go the Chargers!

The convention was held in Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego which used to host Baseball and Gridiron. But now the San Diego Padres play in Petco park in downtown San Diego and this stadium is only used to play football by the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego State University Aztecs Football Team.

I love stadiums and this one's as unique as any that Ive seen. The while place is made of concrete. Theyve got escalators to the top tier of the stadium which is cool. They can seat 67,544 and its hosted the Superbowl in '88, '98 and '03. The Chargers want a new stadium but they reckon itll cost $800million dollars to build a new one! Someone say financial crisis?

The car parks huge and surrounds the entire stadium. It also seems to be between an number of hills in the area. You can see some of the houses on top of the hills when you are sitting in the top tier of the stadium.
