Caught the Amtrak from Oceanside (near San Diego) to LA. Very comfortable 2 hour trip. Not very expensive either. Caught up on some sleep....zzzZZZ.
The Amtrak train came into Union Station in LA where Deb and Angela picked us up. Very nice station...at least the main lobby/hall is. If you ever pass through Union, take a look. There isnt much of a metro rail network in LA though, so have a look if you pass by.
