Left my camera in NY! Spewing I was not going to able to use in on this leg of the trip. Had to get it sent to Uncle Edgar in San Jose. Lucky we had Love's camera as backup :)
Highway 1 is a drive along the rocky and hilly coast between San Luis Obispo and Monterey, California. The terrain is very dramatic as the road winds around the giant cliffs and mountains which line the coast. Very fun to drive.

Apparently it is quite foggy for most of summer and this day was no exception. Especially in the higher sections of the road, the fog was very heavy. You could see the fog moving up the hill from the coast.
Even with the fog, the scenery was amazing. Definately worth the drive.
